SoC integration - System on Chip
For digital signage purpose we recommend purchasing professional" screens. They are made for a tougher environment than consumer screens, and also comes with some functionality which makes the slightly higher price a good investment. See a comparision at the bottom of this page.
The most important functionality is the integrated operating system. This means that you will not need an external player, which is a huge advantage both regarding functionality and price.
We support both Samsung (OS: Tizen) and LG (OS: WebOS).
Although older versions of SoC are supported keep in mind that estimated lifespan for professional screens are ca 5-7 years. So if you have very old monitors, it could be more efficient to consider replacing them with new and more bright ones.

Even if we do not recommend using commercial TVs for digital signage, this is a choice which we will leave to the customers.
